C3-Wireless Partners with Leading Auction Software Company to Upgrade Its Customers Wireless Networks

C3-Wireless, LLC, a consulting company specializing in mission-critical wireless networking services, has partnered with Auction Software Incorporated to upgrade their customer's wireless networks to support handheld scanners indoors and outdoors throughout their facilities.

ASI plans to upgrade more than 100 sites this year throughout the United States, with C3-Wireless providing the sales, wireless site surveys, design, installation, and support for the wireless infrastructure.  After C3-Wireless completed the first implementation, ASI is happy with their decision, giving C3-Wireless glowing feedback.

For each site, C3-Wireless completes an RF spectrum analysis and creates a predictive model using sophisticated software that starts by inputting the RF characteristics of the site's construction and the anticipated placement and configuration of access points.  Next they calculate the signal propagation and identify potential coverage and capacity issues.  "What if" scenarios are then possible by adjusting the model and seeing the changes in real-time.

After C3-Wireless identifies the initial placement of access points, they then temporarily place the access points and antennas in the proper areas according to the virtual site survey.  From there, they completed a full onsite manual site survey, measuring for signal strength, signal-to-noise ratio (measuring a signal's viability), interference, and data rates.
